New Year In Philippines
The new year in Philippines is quite unique. Filipinos are known to have a variety of beliefs, traditions and one way to celebrating New Year. In the Philippines is by setting lots an lots of fireworks even days before New Year.
At midnight Filipino Families gather together and eat a midnight meal, a belief that would ensure plenty of food in the coming year. Filipino children follow a custom of jumping up and down twelve times believing that they would grown taller in the coming year. They believes that banging on pots and pans and sounding off car horns and car alarms is the safest method of merrymaking on New Year. They truly believes that displaying of colorful round fruits an wearing clothes whit dots and other circular designs would bring luck as they all symbolizes money.

MY NEXT BIRTHDAY
My next birthday is in december 27, I think in Pereira celebrate with my family .
My wife buys a cake and vine. Them we ate the cake at home together .
My kids sing the happy birthday, Isabella play the guitar, Sofia play the flute and Sergio Manuel sings.
Them we go to eat at the Meson Español. In this restaurant the waiters bring a small cake and sang feliz cumpleaños and dance aroun the table(it is funny and cute).
At nigth my wife and me go to dancing.

* My best memory of my childhood: Halloween costumes!.. My first costume was of the clown, when I was 5 months. 
Other costumes that I wore: wonder woman, doll, nurse and minnie mouse... I wore costumes until I was 9 years. In Halloween, I played Trick or Treating with my friends and I went from house to house asking for candies.
* My best memory of my Teenage: Graduation trip!.. I went to Santa Marta and Cartagena with my best friends, in December of 2005 for one week.
In the graduation trip, we went to tourist places of Santa Marta and Cartagena, as The Rodadero and The San Felipe Castle, we ate delicious sea food and we walked on the beach at nights.

Mardi Gras is a carnival that takes place the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday in the city of New Orleans, USA. The celebration of Mardi Gras is among the largest and most famous in the world. Its traditional colors are green, purple and gold.
A curious fact is that during the festival, of the floats are released colored collars to the public and women show their breasts to the crowd wanting to have collars, today's residents consider this practice immoral.

but I don't like this celebration beacuse much people are naked and drink alcohol.
