Mardi Gras celebration is a beautiful event, i like this festival because it has colorful shapes and flavors, too in the parades there a lot of brass bands. Also it has elegant costumes as king and princesses,is very interesting new orleands held street processions of maskers with the carriages and horseback.the colors the festival are purple, green and gold, also the most important is the variety in the food and the cakes with the tipycal colors. but the best is when throwing necklaces in all shapes and colors it is fantastic yaneth agudelo

Mardi Gras is one big holiday in New Orleans. People is wearing purple, green and gold. They sit on the ground , playing music, picnicking, and watching the multitude walk by between parades. Mardi Gras is a big and popular celebration. It has a lot of cultural activities that are bad imitate around the world. This celebration is always on the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday, this a unique curious thing. People say it's a crazy party, but all is not true. In fact, here there are adult parties, but familiar activities too. There are many parades, works of theater, and other events for everyone. People enjoy with costumes and the krewes of the carnival. They have a special food, called King cake, it's a kind of big bread with milk, sugar, salt and things like that. This carnival is like if you were going to a theme park, your dreams can be to reality.
